HPB Makes Landmark Debut in the International Capital Markets

DTB is pleased to announce that it has acted as Croatian legal counsel to Morgan Stanley, as sole agent, in connection with Hrvatska poštanska banka d.d.‘s (“HPB“) inaugural issuance of senior preferred notes in the international capital markets. The aggregate principal amount of the bonds is EUR 150 million, and will be listed on Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE), EURO MTF Market.

This transaction marks HPB’s first placement of securities outside the Republic of Croatia, and  enables HPB to diversify its funding sources and gain direct access to the international investor base, strengthening the bank’s long-term capital structure.

DTB acted as Croatian legal counsel to Morgan Stanley on all matters of Croatian law. Dentons acted as international legal counsel. The DTB team was led by Damir Topić (Senior Partner) and included Barbara Šimić Rod and Josipa Banožić (Attorneys at Law).
