PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Dominik is an expert specializing in complex matters across multiple DTB practice groups, including M&A (Mergers and acquisitions), corporate and commercial law, competition law, and unfair trading practices. His deep understanding of corporate transactions and commercial operations allows him to provide tailored legal strategies to some of DTB’s most prominent clients.
As one of key members of DTB’s M&A practice group, Dominik provides high-calibre legal support to both international and domestic clients. His diligent approach ensures that every aspect of a transaction is carefully examined, facilitating smooth execution from start to finish while safeguarding clients’ interests.
With extensive experience in competition law, Dominik actively advises and represents clients in merger clearance procedures for complex M&A transactions. His in-depth expertise enables him to advise and prepare defences for clients facing allegations of cartel formation, abuse of dominant positions and anticompetitive agreements in proceedings before the Croatian Competition Authority. Dominik’s role also includes ensuring that clients’ contracts and internal policies comply with competition law and frequently conducts customized competition law training to client teams. In the realm of unfair trade practices, Dominik provides day-to-day support to clients within the food supply chain, helping them navigate the regulatory landscape and maintain compliance.
As part of the corporate and commercial practice group, Dominik delivers comprehensive corporate advisory services, assisting DTB’s clients with drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, preparing legal opinions, and structuring internal corporate documents. His deep knowledge of company governance, compliance, and strategic decision-making empowers clients to make informed decisions aligned with their business objectives.
