DTB represented EBRD in EUR 100 million worth Cooperation with ZABA for the Financing of Green Projects
DTB represented The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in partnership with Zagrebačka banka (ZABA), the leading bank in Croatia and member of the UniCredit Group, in which it provided ZABA with an uncapped unfunded portfolio guarantee of up to €80 million under the European Union’s InvestEU Programme.
ZABA thus became the EBRD’s first partner financial intermediary under the InvestEU programme. This financial instrument is designed to cover a newly generated portfolio of loans, and the total value of the project amounts to €100 million.
This cooperation between EBRD and ZABA will result in more favourable financing conditions for a wide range of clients and their projects from the building and sustainable transport sector, which have proven to be challenging for decarbonisation.
